Le Champ du Four accommodates up to six people. This 19C stone former farmhouse possesses all the historic charm of the French countryside, although it has been updated with a well equipped kitchen and extra light & space, modern bathroom, laundry including washing and drying machines and second toilet.

The house has a large ground floor room with terracotta tiled floor and cathedral ceiling, modern kitchen at one end, gas stove and microwave, and comfortable lounge room at the other, separated by a large dining area with refectory table. French doors open to the spacious courtyard area. The courtyard and adjacent lawn is shaded by a large horse chestnut tree. The laundry with washer and dryer opens on to this courtyard, as does the second toilet and washroom.

One double and a twin bedroom are situated on the first floor with bathroom and toilet between. The third bedroom is a double room located on the second floor level. A second sitting room on the ground floor, with fold-out sofa bed, has access to the courtyard providing an additional living space.

All linen is supplied. Outdoor furniture and BBQ is provided. Heating of the house during the cooler months is achieved by two efficient wood heaters and a portable gas heater. There is a plentiful supply of split firewood in the woodshed adjacent to the laundry.
