Le Champ du Four is a spacious 19thC renovated stone
farmhouse in the heart of France. It is situated in tranquil

bedrooms sleeping up to 6 people, a large dining and
family area with a separate lounge room. It has a
courtyard which provides off-street parking and a large

somewhere to relax under the shady trees. See our Farmhouse page for more details.
The village of Dompierre les Ormes, 3 km to the south, has all the shops for day-to-day needs including bakeries,
butchers, a grocery store, wine merchant, restaurants, hairdressers and a weekly market, There is a municipal
swimming pool for the warmer months.
Within easy walking distance are the communes of Trivy, 500 metres north, which has a village hall, post office and
Romanesque church; and Chandon, 600 metres south, which boasts two excellent restaurants overlooking a

We always ask for feedback from guests to be able
to improve the farmhouse experience for future
visitors. Some excerpts of what our guests have told
us:
"What a great place! Bigger than expected, very comfortable and the living-dining
area had loads of rustic appeal. R&R S, Shepparton, Victoria.
"We had a lovely holiday in Trivy. The house was very homely and well appointed.
We managed to shop in the surrounding markets and spent several interesting days
at Cluny, Charolles, La Clayette, etc. It certainly is a beautiful part of France. G&P L,
Hawthorn, Victoria.
"We had a fabulous time. The house came with everything we needed & provisions
were easily obtainable… I felt quite sad when the two weeks were up. I will certainly
recommend it to anyone I know who is considering a trip to Burgundy. CW, Northcote,
Victoria.
"In a nutshell, our stay at the farmhouse was fabulous. Our first impression was that
the farmhouse was cute and cosy, nestled into the base of rolling green hills, just as
we'd imagined... The cottage was fitted out really well, it had everything we needed.
The coffee maker was a real blessing too, we gave it a really good workout. DA,
Brighton, Victoria.
"The farmhouse is just gorgeous - it is so roomy, loads of character, and also very
cosy with the fire going. Our first impressions were basically to be blown away with how lovely it was, in such a
beautiful location and also how well you have it fitted out with everything we could possibly need, supplied. LT, Tolmie,
Victoria.
